Don’t get me wrong because I’m in a lesbian relationship and I still love the Lord but feel that He’s not too pleased with my lifestyle right now and feel that all this is just gives me a license to sin because that’s the way I was raised.
Dear Gentle Person,
I would suppose the good Lord is not to happy with any of our life styles whether that be gay or straight. For we do not love our neighbor as ourselves, we do not love God with all our heart, soul and strength. We turn our heads on the poor and down trodden, we only care about our own comfort and well-being while many around us suffer from loneliness and despair.
Now, with all that said, Jesus died for just these Reasons — to save us from ourselves. However, please understand that a loving, caring, nurturing relationship is NOT a sin. It never has been nor will it ever be.
As you can see from the aforementioned list we have far more things to be concerned with in our relationship with God than who we love. As I see it, sometimes who we love and honor might be one of the few things that we do right.
