Education is the key to fostering understanding of any oppressed group, be they gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or straight. In Whosoever’s 18th Godcast we explore two very different approaches to educating others about diversity.

First, we find out what happens when the Ku Klux Klan gives a rally and clowns show up. We talk with one of the Ku Klux Klowns who schooled the Klan earlier this year in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Also, being gay, lesbian, bisexual and Christian has its challenges, but when you’re transgender, there are often a whole new set of challenges to reconcile gender identity and faith. We talk with author and consultant Vanessa Sheridan about how she’s working to educate not just the church, but also corporations, about the transgender experience.
