Is it right to be a gay or lesbian in Christ?? Why?
Anonymous
Dear Child of God,
Your note was very brief so I am not sure why you are asking this question or what prompted it. However, yes it is okay to be a gay or lesbian Christian.
Why? Because we are born as gay or lesbian. Sexual orientation has nothing to do with our relationship with God. The only time it becomes an issue is when others make it an issue. All that God requires is that we do justice, act mercifully and walk humble with God. There is nothing in that requirement that says how and who we are suppose to love.
Sexual orientation whether straight, gay, bi or otherwise is a part of God’s creation and therefore a gift of God!
God Bless,
Pastor Paul
