Whosoever is especially interested in writing that speaks directly to the lives, faith and experiences of LGBTQ+ Christians today. We look for pieces that have something meaningful to say — not simply about being LGBTQ+ or Christian, but about what happens where those identities, experiences and communities meet.

The strongest Whosoever pieces often connect scripture, theology or Christian tradition to the questions LGBTQ+ people are asking right now; offer an affirming Christian perspective on current events, culture or the institutional church; challenge ideas or practices that harm LGBTQ+ people; or draw something larger and useful from a writer’s own journey of faith.

Above all, we’re looking for a clear point of view and a reason for the reader to care. We welcome writing that comforts, challenges, inspires, provokes or surprises — and especially writing that leaves LGBTQ+ Christians feeling more informed, more empowered, more hopeful or less alone.
