I hope you will keep me in your prayers. I am a Christian a single mother of 2 children, and I am attracted to women. I know in my heart that a women is who I want to spend my life with. I love Jesus so much and I don’t want to do wrong in His eyes. I feel a large sense of hopelessness. Does God really love me the same, and will His love be just as strong and His kindness I don’t want to lose that. Please, Pray for me to have a peace with God and within myself to be who I am.
Thank you kindly,
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. He (She) who believes in him is not condemned; he who does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” — John 3:16-18

For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel…” — Isaiah 43: 2-3a
“For thou didst form my inward parts, thou didst knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise thee, for thou art fearful and wonderful.Wonderful are thy works! Thou knowest me right well; My frame was not hidden from thee, when I was being made in secret, intricately wrought in the depths of the earth. Thy eyes beheld my unformed substance; in thy book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.” — Psalm 139: 13-16

I have quoted these verses to you from the Whosoever web page, to put them right in front of you so that you might grab onto the idea that God does in fact love you, that God cares for you, that God wants the best for you. You said you love Jesus. That is all that is needed.
Being gay or lesbian is not the horrible thing that many people seem to believe it to be. Please note that while many think the Bible speaks against homosexuality (and it doesn’t), there is far more in there about living and being true to ones heart, to having faith in the God of love.
You will certainly be in my prayers. I will pray God would give you a sense of God’s presence and peace as only God can give. I will pray that you understand deep in your soul that you are a part of God’s creation, that God made you just the way you are and asks only that you love your Creator. Despite what the world says, or people say no one can change who God has made you to be and no one can separate you from the love of God which is yours through Jesus the Christ!
