Whosoever is embarking on an exciting new phase of its existence. After a four-year hiatus, the website that was founded by Rev. Candace Chellew 22 years ago as the online version of her groundbreaking LGBT-positive Christian magazine is undergoing a transformation.
The first step in this journey is that I am answering the call to serve as Editor-in-Chief of Whosoever in partnership with Rev. Chellew, who is assuming the role of Editor Emeritus. Our goal is to relaunch Whosoever in 2019 with fresh content aimed at today’s seekers while preserving the rich archives of original content that have characterized Whosoever to date.
The initial phase of this transformation will involve a great deal of behind-the-scenes work, but we intend to post updates along the way on our Facebook page.
I am thrilled and humbled to take this journey and, I welcome your presence alongside us.
Editor-in-Chief of Whosoever and Founding and Senior Pastor of Gentle Spirit Christian Church of Atlanta, Rev. Paul M. Turner (he/him) grew up in suburban Chicago and was ordained by the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches in 1989. He and his husband Bill have lived in metro Atlanta since 1994, have been in a committed partnership since the early 1980s and have been legally married since 2015.
